THE MSV INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING FAIR 2023
The International Engineering Fair in Brno is one of the most important European trade fairs in the field and RETOS VARNSDORF, in the year of its 30th anniversary, was part of it.
The participation of 1,312 exhibiting companies from 43 countries attracted about 60,000 visitors, which is a further increase compared to last year. This fair boasts a positive atmosphere and particularly sophisticated negotiations.
As part of this year’s inauguration, our exhibition was chosen for a visit by a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, where they discussed with our CEO Ing. Jan Müller the company’s history and success with sales of horizontal boring mills into the whole world.
On occasion of the 30th anniversary, the highlight of our exhibition in the RETOS signature colours and pleasant surroundings were two historical machines of our original mother company from the beginning of the 20th century that had been completely refurbished by RETOS employees and equipped with new tools by our technological partner Dormer Pramet. Further, the booth featured photographs of new machines with their accessories, 1:10 scale machine models of the 10XP SERIES, a development timeline, as well as an historical photographs of the company’s history and employees.
The sales department, including our machine dealers, service and spare parts, was available for business consultations and information. The opportunity to present the new machines and subsequent services related to horizontal boring machines to end customers brought many valuable contacts from all over the world. We registered a remarkable interest for the production of spare parts as well as general overhauls.
